As part of our strategy to design an integrated transport system that works for everyone, Transport for Wales is committed to giving everyone a voice in the development of Wales’s busiest rail station: Cardiff Central, and the surrounding transport connections (bus station, cycle storage/hire, taxi rank, drop off point, parking etc.).
The Cardiff Central Enhancements Programme will increase capacity, reduce congestion and transform the passenger environment.
Its aim is to deliver improvements to Cardiff Central to make it fit for purpose now and into the 2040s, whilst enabling it to form part of an integrated transport hub which enables safe and sustainable travel, supports a vibrant and diverse economy, and provides an iconic gateway to Wales.
We need to hear your views on how you currently feel about Cardiff Central Station and the surrounding transport connections.
